Career counselling for your teenager: a guide for parents
Choosing subjects, courses and a career is a big decision, and parents play a big part in it. Here is what a Career Smart session involves, why we ask a parent to attend, and what it costs: Gold A$495 (2 hours) or Platinum A$695 (3 hours), in Perth or online.
Why a parent attends
For high school students, we ask a parent or carer to join the session. You hear the assessment results first-hand, can ask questions as they come up, and leave with the same Career Action Plan as your teenager.

That means the conversations at home build on the session instead of starting again, and everyone is working from the same plan when it is time to choose subjects, courses or university preferences.
